114 years ago today, 1500 years after being banned by Roman Emperor Theodosius, the Olympic Games were recreated in Athens. At the opening ceremony, 60,000 spectators welcomed athletes from 13 nations.

A marathon was run to commemorate the first Olympic Games. A marathon race is 26 miles. If all the spectators lined the course, would they all be able to see the runners?
