On the Second Day of Christmas, My True-Love Gave to Me...Two Turtle Doves...

A turtle dove is a medium-sized bird with a small head. It summers in Europe and then migrates to Africa for the winter. Turtle doves lay their eggs in the springtime and may lay two sets of eggs, usually with two eggs in a set. The eggs take between 2 and 3 weeks to gestate (be born).

About how old will the chicks be by our holiday break?
