Yesterday was the 55th Anniversary of the introduction of the "Artmobile." This all-aluminum trailer was designed by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (in Richmond, VA) and measured 30 feet in length and 80 feet in height. It was designed to be the first mobile art gallery.
