Today ends the first full week of October. With Halloween just around the corner, ever wonder how many tombstone makers there are in the US?

A branch of mathematics based on calculations made popular by Enrico Fermi, called Fermi Math, says we can make an "accurate guess" based on some known information.

According to interment.com, it turns out there are approximately 8,380 cemeteries in the US, each containing between 300 and 1000 graves. An engraving takes about 2 weeks for 2 people.
