Puzzle for October 3, 2008

Tuesday we discussed the falling stock market of September 1986. This September is not looking good for the Dow either. Tuesday the Dow fell more than 777 points of the more than 12000 points of the Dow. In December of 1986 it fell 154 points out of the 1900 points it then held.
